Call for Submission of Articles
幸赖国内学界同仁大力支持，2020年，《全球城市研究（中英文）》正式发刊。
《全球城市研究（中英文）》为季刊，每年出版四期，以跨学科的全球城市研究为主，吸纳中外优秀全球城市研究成果，涉及全球城市理论、全球城市产业与区域经济、全球城市社会治理、全球城市文化、全球城市史、全球化、全球城市空间网络等相关领域。
《全球城市研究（中英文）》的办刊宗旨是：坚持正确的舆论导向和办刊方向，刊登跨文化、跨学科的全球城市研究成果，搭建全球城市研究的学术交流平台，促进中外文化的深度对话和理解，服务于新时代的中国全球城市研究，希图为中国的城市化和上海建设卓越全球城市提供些许智识支持。
在此，我们竭诚欢迎学界同仁赐稿，文章题材选择不限，论证风格不拘，惟以学术价值和专业规范为准绳，既欢迎旁博引论证厚重的长文，也欢迎书评、译稿、综述等介绍国内外最新学术研究的短文。在惠赐大作之前，《全球城市研究（中英文）》提请您垂注以下几点：
1. 大作请附上300—400字的中英文对照的内容提要和3—5个关键词。
2. 所有来稿一律实行匿名评审，不论刊用与否，均在1个月内予以答复。
3. 注释和引文格式：注释均采用脚注方式，如①、②......的形式，word默认每页重新编号。引用的外文论著皆不必翻译为中文。
4. 凡经本刊使用的稿件，如无电子版、信息网络传播权特殊声明，即视为作者同意授权本刊及本刊合作媒体进行数字化传播。

Global Cities Research is a peer-reviewed, scholarly publication devoted to interdisciplinary studies of world cities, inaugurated in the fall of 2020 and published quarterly in Shanghai, China. The editorial board is based in the Shanghai Institute for Global City of Shanghai Normal University. The Journal aims to build a forum for academic exchange across disciplines, promote understanding between China and the world, and chart the progress of urbanization and globalization of our era.
We welcome scholarly contributions on various fields, ranging from theorizations of globalization, to urban planning and governance, and to the historical and sociological studies of world cities, with respect to the social, political, economic, cultural, ecological, and technological conditions past and present. The Journal presents scholarly articles, and as well as academic interviews, research reports, statistics, and book reviews.
Submission Guidelines
Previously published work is not accepted.
Manuscripts should be submitted in Word file format and sent by email to sigc@shnu.edu.cn.
All manuscripts will be reviewed anonymously and the result will be notified within a month. Please adopt internationally accepted citation formats (APA, Chicago, MLA, etc.). Please use footnotes instead of endnotes.
Please provide a short abstract and a list of key words.
All manuscripts published by the journal, unless otherwise specified, are deemed to have been authorized for digital distribution by the Journal and its partner platforms.
